Tourist or not, maybe you need a Sydney Guide, a map or just a book to read in the airplane. In any case, you will look for a book store.

Angus & Robertson (A&R) is one of the biggest booksellers in Australia. There are many franchises established across the city, covering most suburbs.

They are a bit cheaper than Dymocks and they will offer you a similar range of books.

You don't speak English? Than,... is too bad. You wouldn't probably find a book in your language. Not even a translation in English of a foreign writer.
