"Carols in the Domain" was the idea of Robyn Hobbs, who saw other cities around Australia
having a night dedicated to Christmas Carols and decided to organize a similar event in Sydney. If 37 years ago the audience was very low, today "Carols in the Domain" have become one of the most popular Christmas events in Australia
, with more than 100,000 people filling the Domain. In case you don't know, Domain is part of Sydney Royal Botanic Garden
Carols in the Domain is also a television event which is broadcast nation wide on the Channel Seven.

is in summer and is nothing more enjoyable than to stay under the stars and the glow of candles to sing along with the professional singers Christmas songs and carols.
Usually the event is organized in the last Saturday before Christmas
It's a free event.
